In the glossy precinct of Main Beach, Tedder Avenue nests a classy niche of restaurants. Amongst them, Tedder and Woodroffe has become quite popular. With a lovely outdoor seating area of rustic tables, white chairs, silver baubles, leaves and vines, it was perfect for Sunday lunch.
For Mum, a spicy, smoky Jamaican Jerk Chicken with a pilaf of spices, nuts and sultanas and a drizzle of rum ginger and lime syrup.
Dad ordered the Box O’ Fish – thick, crisp batter encasing beautifully soft white fish that melts away on the tongue, served with fries, tartare sauce and a lemon wedge.
Little Brother indulged in his Reef and Beef of an eye fillet, sauteed prawns, red wine jus, roasted potatoes and a fresh garden salad.
For me, the Cajun Prawn and Scallop Angel Hair Pasta with spicy tender scallops and prawns, fresh tomato, chili oil and coriander. Spicy, robust and delicious.
Tedder and Woodroffe lives up to expectations with its exceptional food and happy staff.
