Where the River meets Oxford St, there’s a restaurant always filled with the well-dressed sipping their morning coffee whilst enjoying the light Spring breeze. With wooden furnishings, black buoy-like lamps floating in the air and mirrors to accentuate the open space, The Jetty speaks for itself.
We eagerly studied the menu…
The two sisters ordered Spiced Buffalo Wings with Chipotle Mayo and the Crispy Chicken Breast rested on a white Parsnip Puree, Red Wine Jus, Roasted Shallots, Cavolo Nero and sprinkled with Jerusalem Artichoke Crisps.
Big Salmon ordered the Grilled Barramundi with Poached Leeks, smooth Cauliflower Puree and Spinach and Lemon Oil
For me, the Potato Gnocchi with Basil and Cashew Pesto, Chorizo, Roasted Tomatoes and Baby Bocconcini – crisp pillows of gnocchi coated in bright fragrant pesto and brightened with sweet roasted tomatoes and creamy bocconcini.
For those who enjoy fine dining with views spanning the Brisbane River, The Jetty on Oxford St awaits.
