I’m going to introduce you to one of my great loves – Cardamom Pod :)
This place is not hard to spot with its retro chairs, fluoro stools, funky tables, thriving garden plant feature wall, and happy wallpaper. You’ll feel the love as soon as you set foot in here.
Cardamom Pod often has people brooding around slightly before opening time – just to be safe they don’t miss out on the famous Kofta Balls and of course the Raw Vegan Key Lime Cheesecake. Food is ready to be served, so all you have to do is choose your combination from a ‘Not Too Hungry’ to “Full to the Brim” to “Salad Feast”. The menu changes daily, so as to keep life interesting.
My Other Half and I headed out here for a nice Sunday lunch. His “Full to the Brim” combo consisted of a Baked Polenta with Nut Cheese, a Vegetable and Lentil Bake, Tofu and Broccoli Salad, Roasted Pumpkin and Quinoa Pomegranate Salad with a side of Fancy Rice.
I just had the Two Salad Combo – Roasted Eggplant, Pumpkin and Spinach Pesto Salad and also had the Roasted Pumpkin and Quinoa Pomegranate Salad ^^.
Previously, we’ve had the Vegetable Lasagna, Lentil Curry and Kofta Ball. I absolutely adore their Raw Vegan Pumpkin Cheesecake…it is deliciously sensational.
