Little Brother and I are fairly keen on our sushi, and our bellies were crying out for somewhere new and exciting.
Dami is a little Japanese place that fits under the category of the humble and authentic Japanese restaurant. The menu wasn’t pages long, but what they offered was unique and a change from the everyday variations provided around the Sunnybank area.
Here’s what we chose :)
The Eel, Tuna and Avocado Roll: The sweet and salty eel added to the soft and creamy tuna and avocado.
The Double Prawn Roll: A soft poached prawn outside and a crisp tempura prawn inside – can’t go wrong.
The classic Yaki Udon: Beautifully fresh seafood (none of that supersized tasteless ‘prawn’ making an increasing appearance around Southside) stir-fried with yummy udon noodles.
Overall, a lovely place for good quality Japanese food. :D
